I'm doing some work related training. It's a woman reading out a lecture in a monotone accompanied by millions of powerpoint slides which are either meaningless box diagrams or screenshots.
I simply cannot listen to it, no matter how hard I try.
You need to ringfence the unicorn, this will allow you to eliminate the wrong thinking and move forward with positive force.
ask loads of questions and challenge every answer.
I go on a number of courses where we are given a copy of the power point on the screen and then the trainer reads it out. They could save loads of money on the venue and just e-mail it out so we could read it ourselves.
I find almost everything connected with office work to be utterly tedious.
The last time I attended such a horror fest.
I selected a seat in the auditorium, behind a pillar.
Some 20 mins later I promptly set to sleeping.

Normally I do that (to make myself interested and to solidify what I'm hearing) but this is online videos. Not even with a person, just a monotone voice and the slides.
I also prefer to do it myself from the reference materials, but this is what's recognised by work. There is some practical at the end, if I survive the videos.
