Have a look at Ruberslaw Wildwood Camping. I've not used it myself but it looks well organised.

Ruberslaw looks good, 10 minutes down the road so never been. Melrose is nice right in town.

There is a Caravan Club site right on the edge of Melrose town centre.They take tents but not sure if you need to be a member or pay extra.Excellent location and good facilities.
