true, but that's why the ref and/or his/her assistants are supposed to give free kicks, that's what they're paid to spot. If they don't give a free kick then either (a) they didn't see it, (b) they didn't see the same thing the multiple replays did or (c) they'd been paid off, like a certain Greek official back in the early 70s
The foul by Terry on Milner was diabolocal, how the lad escaped without a broken leg I'll never know.
