I'm getting plagued by pop up ads that are annoying the hell out of me.
I don't think they pose a security threat, but i just cant get rid of them.
Im on Windows Vista, use Google Chrome as my default web programme and have Microsoft Security Essentials and Firewall (fully active) as my security.
Iv'e gone into google chrome tools and clicked the do not allow pop ups box, im fully up to date security wise and ive run a full system scan.
They still come up.
One of those ads wants me to download a flash player (which i have and is up to date) and its from bizcoaching.com. Anyone heard of it?
Obviously i close it as soon as it comes up. And it keeps coming up every 10th random site i click on to visit (i stick to my usual choices normally).
Help! 🙄
Can you edit the link out so no one is tempted to click it?
Get thee a copy of malwarebytes at set it off on full scan, and full scan of MSE and download and run CCleaner for final effect. Restart.
Download and run Malwarebytes to see if it finds some nasties on your PC.
The other ad just popped up- buildathome.info
Also wants me to download a media player.
Malwarebytes
I'll give it a go- and the cCleaner 😀
Thanks for the info, i'll let you know if it helps 😉
Follow the first two steps here,
