I'm struggling to think of many situations where you'd want to borrow an onion and then be able to return it later. And in none of those situations would I want it back.

Don's going to a fancy dress and wants to dress as the stereotypical rural Frenchman, has the cycle and striped shirt, but needs to borrow 1 onion of as many people on the forum as possible?

Not sure how he can guarantee to give everyone back their correct onion mind.

I borried an onion off me neighbour, then gave them back one later.

That's how borrying foodstuffs works.

Those'll be English onions, no? Could you slice and dice them, on second thoughts just slice as it's for tonight's pizza.
Eres muy amable... 😀
