Ive bodged tubes by winding electrical tape round them before. If there a shop or a boater you can scrounge some tape from.
Cable tie either side of the hole super tight, or tie a knot in it. Not tried but seen on google. Good luck.

OK, AIBU that if someone's put a plea for help up, they'd either check in occasionally and/or say they're sorted? Not every 5 mins, but it's an hour since i offered to run out to them.
