Sent a pair of pedals back to CRC 11 days ago. The lady weighed it and asked for the value which was £70. She then said the cheapest is 1st Class Signed For which sounded fine to me. Of course it is only now the parcel has been lost that I discover that service only goes up to £50 compensation. I'd just lump it if I hadn't told them the true value, but feel a little pissed off since I did. Odds on getting the full amount back? F all I reckon.

Is now a bad time to ask why you didn't send them back for free via CollectPlus?

Not at all - printer is knackered so couldn't print the label, and they're faulty so CRC refund the postage costs.

Well, at least you'll get your £4.30 back.
