Anyone any idea on what the cycling is like in and around Sydney? Nearby mountain biking? Good roady routes? CX jaunts? A very tempting job has come up and the current North Wales weather seems to be tipping the decision! ๐Ÿ™‚

The ku ring gai chase just outside the city seemed the best place for off roading as i remember.

Manly dam and Old Man's Valley are both trail centre-ey fun within 20 mins of the CBD. Further out you've got Ourimbah state forrest on the central coast for DH and XC goodness, the blue mountains for 'proper' exploring and loads of other stuff within a couple of hours drive. www.trailfix.com will give you far too much info on the subject. Also hit up www.rotorburn.com for the closest thing we've got to singletrackworld over here.

Cheers all. Food for thought. The job is quite similar to what I do now, but I have ace riding from my door on mtb and roady here. Just want more sunshine! ๐Ÿ˜•
