Managed 5 mins and decided it was the kind of sh1te Miranda would write.
God knows why Glenister and Tate allowed themselves to be taken in by it.
It's very gentle and extremely old fashioned.
Some good bits (the detention scene was quite funny, as was the assembly), but most of those gags were virtually prehistoric.
At least the acting was good, especially Frances de la Tour.
I reckon it'd make a good teatime kids programme, tbh.
Is it just me...but Katherine Tate...yes please...
Tate as "the babe French teacher" that takes some imagination!
I was enjoying the burrowers on bbc2, very interesting.
Second episode was definately funnier.
And Katherine Tate? I think the camera's kind to her. If you intended doing sex with her you'd need a length of string and a biro to mark the bits you've kissed etc. during the compulsory foreplay phase.
