I see about 20 A380 undersides per day over my house. Amazing to think that's 600 tonnes above my head. I like planes.

Yep C17 Globemaster... saw 2 or 3 at Royal Air Tattoo over the weekend which is fairly local to Cardiff, probably on its way home

why the Herc gunship?
It used to be a regular occurrence seeing one of those C-17's flying into RAF Lyneham.
Unfortunately, it tended to coincide with the sad procession led by a hearse through what is now Royal Wootton Bassett.
Still see one from time to time, along with A400's out of Brize.
