Got a very tall (1.5 times height of my house at least) ash tree in the woods next to my house that has toppled and has about a 60degree lean into another equally tall ash tree. It's leaning away from the house but I'm a bit concerned that the multi bole ash tree it is leaning against might weaken and send one of the boles crashing into my house. Not really sure who to ask about getting this sorted. Knowing the landowner he'll not want to do anything, and as no tree is over a public highway the council will probably not want to know either. What to do.....

Call a tree surgeon and start the ball rolling at least?

if the tree falls on your house they are liable so they may want to do something about it

Sadly not, but I've got a queue forming at the front door!
