I've just replaced the ceramic disk on the hot water side of our kitchen tap because it was dripping - [as I have bought both] do I replace the cold side as well or keep it until the original one goes?
......I know, tricky one 😉

I've caused more problems by faffing with stuff that isn't broke. 😳

You will not be able to find the one you kept as a spare when you need it so fit it now 😀

Edit: and hurry up I need a brew

When our kitchen tap began leaking around the swivel I decided it wasn't worth fixing as we needed to replace the whole kitchen. 10 years on and we now have the new kitchen and no leaking tap. No need to rush these things.
