[Closed] Best way to learn Joomla

Having a reasonable amount of experience in using Content management systems to run sites that other people have built, i'm now planning on designing and building a site from scratch and writing my own template.

After trawling plenty of sites i've not been able to find a decent resource for learning it from scratch. I'm really after a easy to read walk through that builds a decent looking website right from writing CSS to adding modules and fancy design features.

I do know my way round basic HTML and did programming years ago at uni, so i'm not totally clueless, but am still finding it a bit daunting.
