We will be in touch
Im just wondering as if i lose my job if the NHS start cutting jobs and the chances of me getting a job back contracting in my 50,s is very low , that i might as well be on the dole and live somewhere nice with cycle paths near by that i can take my grandson out on and try to enjoy life instead of living in a area with very few jobs and almost most of them are min wage.
It might be handy living near your grandson?
I do only 3 miles away we will have him to stay most of his school holidays if we move.
That is one of the reason,s i ruled out moving up to Scotland .
Well Brum seemingly has the biggest concentration on this map. Obviously uyou don't have to live in Brum to appreciate the canal in the area... and having lived on the outside of Brum for years I can honestly say there some lovely canals within the midlands area as a whole.
So I'm not sure what criteria you'd use for your "best" place to live for canal riding, surely you should take into account the sustrans network and large (flatish) parks (cannock/thetford,swinley, etc), rather than just limit yourselves to canal work.
I think there are plenty of canals in Venice 😉
z1ppy thanks for the links and your advice not to limit myself to the canal paths i will look in to this when i get back from France a week on sunday.
