The drums - The drums
Further - The Chemical Brothers
The Suburbs - Arcade fire
Swim - Caribou.

itunes + Red wine = mistake.
Cool. This will give me something to get my ears around. Neck sound good as a start - Everyone`s welcome to the Hooley!
Wow. Kate Walsh. "Unbelievable" truly is. What a Gem. Cheers
Mooly - Tim's House by Kate Walsh is also excellent. less convinced by Night and Dark. Gary
The Suburbs/Arcade Fire
I Speak Because I Can/Laura Marling
Agree with lots on here, but would add The Fall - Your Future, Our Clutter. A return to form.
GJP I`ll try and check it out. Reminds me a bit of Fiest - also truly beautiful vocals.
Defeats the purpose of this thread, as a lot of these were not released these year, but I've only come across them in 2010. They are all good though!
The Antlers - Hospice
Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
The Twilight Sad - Fourteen Autumns And Fifteen Winters
Radical Face - Ghost
Frightened Rabbit - Fast Blood
The Ladykiller - Cee Lo Green
That man has an amazing voice, and I can't remember the last time I heard an album with so little filler. Every track is a belter.
JLS
Vampire Weekend - Contra
LCD Soundsystem - can't remember title
Those two are my faves, and both have grown on me after being a bit underwhelming initially.
Arcade Fire still unwrapped downstairs, looking forward to hearing it but have to let wife open it really as it was her Xmas gift.
Couple more mentioned above I need to check out as well.
Wallis Bird - New Boots for me, cracking live as well. 🙂
Will check out Kate Walsh, looks good.
If you lived with the music that Kate Walsh has covered on Peppermint Radio then just buy it - you will not be disapointed.
The Suburbs/Arcade Fire
The Fall - Your Future
I am Kloot - Sky at Night
listened to quite a bit.
Empire by Super 8 & Tab
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was the best album I heard last year. Incredible, and very different.

The National - High Violet

Beach House - Teen Dream
Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan - Hawk
Laura Marking - I speak Because I can
She and Him - Volume 2
