Anyone watching? Very graphic but balanced documentary.

The two civilians with licensed firearms- heroes.

This is absolutely bonkers! Just the matter of fact way they're talking about being in such a terrifying situation!

I'm in Scotland so it isn't on till 00.20, this is obviously salmonds fault. Or browns.
I'm not sure I haven't watched the news in a few days.

Just awful. Very upsetting.

That Abdul chap deserves a medal. As for the 'SWAT Team' and army......

3.5hrs then they shoot 3 good Policemen already in there. I thought there was also a Brit involved? (From some press reports at the time?)

Stunning. Imagine the horrific stuff they would've had to edit out of the cctv...

Just watching life and death row on bbc3, that and life in solitary on bbc2 Sunday has been some of the grimest but interesting programmes ever.
Think I'll watch the mall on catchup another night

Thnaks for the reminders. Couldn't watch tonight but will do so on the iPlayer. It will be a bit difficult as an ex team member of mine now lives in Kenya and lost a good friend in the shootings.

Definitely worth watching. TBH I don't think they did censor the cctv. After all they showed the aftermath of the cookery party. The bit about the Sikh boy and his Grandmother - that wasn't censored. I feel it possibly should have been.

Edit- the SAS story. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/nov/02/westgate-mall-attacks-kenya

Looks like he didn't go in, in. Just to the cookery competition and storeroom.
