How can I tell which calipers I have .......road or off road .........they were on my Fargo ..which I bought second hand...
I have woodchippers with road levers
But they seem to be lacking in power ......especially off road on steep hills .....I'm just wondering if they'll be up to it when it's all packed up with luggage
the road ones tend to have "bb7 road" on them, but I think it's only a transfer/sticker on recent ones so could have worn off
They'd probably be pulling right to the bars before engaging if you had mtb ones (unless the levers are the longer-pull type)
You should be able to identify from the resting calliper arm position -
