ok, so the local councils have all got the chrimbo lights up, and this is now quite normal.

Has anybody else seen [i]houses[/i] with their outdoor light pollution set up yet? There are at least two near me which are already lit up, and there was one lit up in October (although I suspect that might have been for Diwali). It's not December yet!

i do love chirstmas but anyone that has lights on their house before december should be dragged outside and shot!

Have to admit to going to the local 'turning on of the lights'
but that's cos it was my wee girl hitting the switch!

Not seen any houses here yet tho.

Yes, those same skint councils can spurt away money on town centre chr*stm*s lights, there to prompt the drool-jawed into a consumerist frenzy that benefits the shopkeepers and the foreign economies supplying the goods that people neither need nor can afford...
