Not ‘Framed’, but their brilliant performance of ‘Delilah’ on TOGWT is one that’s always stuck in my mind, as much because of Zal Cleminson and Chris Glenn mucking about behind Alex.

Because of that time I only took 1 cd. I bought the Radical Face album Ghost in WH Smiths for the return so it always reminds me of driving home again

I attended this gig in Annan circa 1996 and it completely changed my opinion of pipe music. Gordon Duncan was a composer and Piper of the very highest order. A lovely guy too. In common with another thread he unfortunately had troubles and took his life in the mid 00's.
Vale of Atholl and him were outstanding that night. Great night.

Davy Graham wasn't Scottish. However, he was still awesome. As was Bert Jansch (who was Scottish) and Dick Gaughan (who still is).
One of the best debut albums I have ever heard. Still feels fresh today (came out early 98 I think). They didn't quite scale the heights of this with subsequent releases but they are, in the words of John Peel, "Galashiels gift to the world". Great live, too. They really should have been bigger.
