As STW is the font of all knowledge I thought I'd ask a question
Autocad. I've created a block in one drawing, put it layer 0 first before creating
When I paste it into another drawing, part of the block isn't copying across
I've turned on and thawed all layers in both drawings
I've audited and purged both drawings
Nothing seems to fix it
It's a glitch I belive. Try copying it into a new drawing. I have to do this every now and then.
Everything logical doesn't work as you have allready found out.
If this works you will need to copy everything into a new drawing. Just select all and copy from reference point 0,0 into the new drawing at points 0,0. Same for the drawing sheet and viewports.
Annoying but I can't find another way round it.
Layer 0 can do special things. Have you tried all elements on another layer? Looking through viewport with any layers frozen through that viewport?
Linetype scaling & linetype by layer the same?
Have you tried exploding it in the original drawing and then copying and pasting as a block?
+1 Karlsberg, probably got some blocks in the drawing with same ref names or such like...
