I've just acquired one of these. They are noted for their companionship and ability to mimic sounds and words.
However the one I've got just seems to repeat untruths. Any idea how to deal with it?

Yeah, they're devious little scrotes. My uncle had Menura alberti, and you couldn't rely on a single thing it sang to be correct. It's almost if they were deliberately misleading you. Eventually its beak grew so long it couldn't fit in the cage and we had to put it down.
