Hi all, got a 97 A4 1.8T and the IN2 is being displayed on startup, it's not long been serviced and the mechanic forgot to reset the service ind.
Can this be done myself if so how?

Go back to whoever serviced it and get him to finish the job properly.

Pull the trip reset thing for 5 seconds, that resets mine. Have a look in the manual first though as it may be different.

I agree with Peter Poddy. Those things cost enough to service (I should know, I have one), so they should do the job properly, including the reset.

ask BBA - Reman if it can be reset without reset tool/codereader.
