Thinking about buying an 04 plate astra 1.7 dti.
Anyone had any massive issues with them?

have the slightly less powerful 1.7 Di engine in my combo van
blew an oil pump at 40000 miles but apart from that not bad
not the most refined engine around, the CDti engines are a far more modern engine if you can get one

Isn't there an "issue" with the fuel pumps on the 1.7s? All I can recall is "fragility", "expensive" and possibly "injectors".
