As paypal are incompetent in all aspects of their customer services, I would like to never hear or read their lying, ill informed, time wasting, pathetic little excuses again.

Are there any decent or half decent companies I can use instead?

Thanks
roper

Loads. Depends what you want to use it for though- I can't think of any one oufit that offers services as comprehensive without being a full blown bank. What do you need to do?

Cash or cheque, but people are often too impatient or cant be bothered with posting a letter. Paypal is a rip off anf their customer service is weak - just like eBay.

If you're just sending or receiving money, bank transfer is easiest, cheapest and pretty much foolproof.

No, they don't 'only' accept paypal, but for most accounts you have to offer it as a means of payment. A lot (but not all) of people are amenable to alternative methods of payment- it's still allowable to state a preferred paymentmethod. And, dependent on what you're selling there are alternative channels to use- eg ~Amazon, Play, gumtree off the top of my head. Still, ebay's probably the ebst bet if you want top money- in which case you have to play by their rules unfortunately.

nochex offer a similar service to paypal - not used it but use them to process credit card transactions and seem good to work with
