Mrs GD would like an Android app to time her running. She's built up from never running to 5k this year. She likes the 40 minute run length including 5minutes warm up/down at each end.

All she wants that app to be able to do is beep after 5, 20, 35 and 40 while keeping running - IE end of warm up, half way through run, end of run, end of warm down. Ideally it shouldn't need the alarm to be " cancelled " at each stage and it definitely must allow music to be playing at the same time (Amazon music downloads I think).

It's on Android.

What you got? (No strava esque tracking apps)

Runkeeper. Does everything you seek (rather than merely 'beep' it can give you pace notes every x minutes). It's ace.

Thanks Cougar. 😀

I've even heard of that just thought it was basically strava by another name.

Look at Endomondo too. You can set up the ongoing feedback.

Endomondo is very good also. I preferred RK though.
