Thinking of a disgo3000 as sold by HMV for £100 but seems too cheap to be brilliant.

For internet use only really.

Any good? if not then what is?

+1 ton.

The keyboard is hard to type on as well, keys are just smaller enough to be weird. Assuming you will eb Foruming on it, you may need to be aware.

I think a real basic one will struggle when you need browswer plug ins for animations/sound and all sorts of content.

Daughter had a Dell notebook for Crimbo from her fiance and I found it very difficult to get on with the keyboard let alone seeing the screen but then I am nearly 45 and have fingers like a witches tits!
Apart from that its great 😆

computer and screen is ok but you need small hands to type and I cannot touch type on it - good value for money you really need woman sized hands- mine are hardly massive

I've used my desktop about 3 times since i got a netbook. You soon get used to the smaller screen and the keyboard is fine. My gloves are xxl btw.

Small and cheap is good, it can be taken places and you don't need to be precious about it.

Samsung N110 - keyboard is fullish size. I can type on it fine with my monkey mitts.
