I'm thinking of getting a Thule ranger 90 soft roofbox for occasional use, does anyone have an opinion, or good or bad experiences they care to share?

They look pants but my mate has one that takes up significantly less space in his garage than my solid box does in mine and when you consider it only gets used a few times a year I now wish I had gone for the soft option (so to speak!)
Not sure what volumes are involved, I suspect they dont hold as much.
Bought a soft box, took it back an hour later broken. Zips are crap on them.
I've got one, use it only very occasionally. For sure it is not as good as a hard box but I don't have a garage so starage is a premium.
Fine for chucking camping gear or suitcases in. Happy with mine, but I do wrap stuff in a tarp first, I don't trust its waterproofness
