Have started work in the area and looking to stop over through the week. Any recommendations of where to stay that would allow some biking from the back door??
Working in Grangemouth so looking to stay within 30 mins car commute.

Falkirk is as flat as a pancake.
Stirling has some great local rides.

funnily enough I do you, working at the refinery, which part if you are. If you stay out Denny way then Carron Valley is quite near

I'm in Dunipace and there are a few nice we trails around me. Gimme a shout if you want a tour. Alternatively, if you google Stirling Bike Club, there's always a good, helpful bunch of riders on their message board that'd be happy to show you the best natural trails in Central Scotland.
