Realistically the Britannia on Portland street is not toooooooooo bad - just make sure you book a room with a window!
Premier Travel Inn is spot on for a gig - it's where I usually go as well.
Avoid the Travelodge as it's a shit tip.
+1 for the Britan, that'd be my choice.
