I play. I'm in a band. when I go to watch other bands, I don't go to watch the drummer, I go to watch the band. I can appreciate a good drummer, but that's not the why & wherefore

and technically, that Foos clip isn't a drum solo - the bass and one of the guitars are still playing (Stacked Actors?) - I guess you'd call that an instrumental passage 😉

If you're the kind of person that'll watch this all the way through, I may as well put this link forward for ya's, I love it, find it hard enough programming this kinda stuff in a sequencer, let alone playing it live...
