Hi all, this lady is my sister in law’s mum and she’s been missing since Sunday. On the off chance any of you are riding around the Henley area please keep an eye out for any sign of Beryl. By this stage it’s not looking too good, I know, but a resolution of any sort would be a comfort. Thanks.

Thanks Mark, much appreciated - I think since she hasn’t been found so far there’s every chance she’s somewhere quiet and off the beaten track, which is probably exactly where mountain bikers are most likely to be.

I’m in Henley and they’ve been out since Sunday. Think they’ve expanded the area to Slough on the basis that she got married there (allegedly)

can only hope they find her...luckily the weather has been good but all the bikers here are aware and looking

So sorry to hear this. Does she have dimentia? My grandmother’s partner went missing (though not for as long) and he was found back at the house he’d lived in 30 years earlier. I hope she is found safe and sound.

Thanks wallop and tmb - yes, she does have dementia. They’re trying to think of familiar places where she might have gone, but how she could have got far is a bit of a mystery. Glad it turned out ok Wallop - nice to hear it does sometimes.

Great news.

Dementia is hard. My Dad is suffering from it.

Yes, she's been found in the woods, alive. Not clear yet how well she is, but it's a pretty amazing result. Thanks for helping get the word out everyone.

Great news..... I grew up in a small village 4 miles from Henley and my own elderly parents still live there so know Henley well, and when i read this my immediate thought was Henley-ON-THAMES......

Hope she makes a good recovery

Great news. We had a piece in the paper about her being missing but the paper has only just gone to press so I'm really delighted to have to change it!
