Any thoughts, good, bad or indifferent?
Mainly around the app and ease of use?
Looking to move my current account as it's about time to gather some introductory cashback and rewards, TSB seem to have some good incentives to join them.

The SO recently switched to TSB from NatWest and seems happy with them. She particularly appreciates that there is an actual physical branch with actual humans nearby 😁

We recently closed the kids accounts with TSB. They closed local branch and now not any close by at all. Was very easy to do and staff very pleasant. Guess depends on how you value that.

As it was kids savings account we got the usual poor rates unless you changed the account regularly and don’t think we could do that online as we didn’t bank with TSB.

Easier to swap to who we banked with and then can manage it online.

Yep, never used the app but it's fine otherwise. Online banking easy to use.

Don't use it often now as we switched the main account away some time ago, no complaints, just wanted Nationwide instead for other benefits. Plus the local branch closed down, so less incentive to stay.

Thanks all.
Branches, or lack of, is of no concern to me as I'm currently with Virgin Money and previously was with First Direct.

Is that the same as Lloyd’s?

I did use them - their interest rates were always pretty terrible. The app is OK - it does what it needs to.

I switched to Triodos and am happier there. Interest rates are better than with TSB and they're ethical and much better for the environment.

I did, it was fine tbh. App worked well and was actually decently intuitive and easy to use, the banking services were all decent- kind of basic, you can tell it's mostly been adapted from old services or bolted onto those but that's fine, I prefer it to the First Direct app which is definitely a modern app with all the bloody annoying cleverness that comes with it, where they've been really committed to making a nice futuristic fancy app and not so much to making it good for looking at your bank account (WHY IS IT ALL BLACK? Yes it looks nice, but who designed this thing, Dirt magazine?) The accounts were a bit uncompetitive but it didn't really matter much, I was just using it as a current account. I only closed to do a good transfer deal.

I usually swap current accounts every few years for the bonuses. I recently switched from Halifax to TSB and it's been all good. I like the app.

Been with TSB for years, no issue with the app. Has good security with a few diferent passwords / codes to remember which if your are on it regularly will remember.
