Looking at getting a Bern Helmet for snowboarding but nowhere seems to stock them near me.

What are they like for sizing and goggle fit. Would you reccomend them.

Thinking about the Watts or my other option is a Salomon Brigade.

They're nice. I tried one but ended up with a RED Mutiny 'cos it fits my head better.

Nice looking helmets but didn't fit me well. Ended up with a Smith.

SS20 sell them (10% discount via SCUK too):

Blimey, they had more last night!

Freeze have some:

and so do bargainboards.co.uk

Just remembered another point that pushed me towards Smith: the Bern doesn't have closable vents.

i have a bern macon h20, very nice helmet in terms of quality (and style - flat grey with flat black minimal logos, nice!). although not quite the same as you are looking at, the sizing i can tell you comes up quite small. i'm a 59cm head which is slap bang middle for their L and XL sizes yet the xl (59-61) just about does me (no way would it be comfy with a 61 head). its ok for a few hours on the water, but would'nt want to wear it all day.

Also be aware that the "Hard Hat" versions of these helmets do not meet the EN standards for helmets. The EPS versions do though.

I'll secon Graham S, I was looking at them but got a Smith Holt in the end. Not to expensive and actually looked ok.

I went for the Smith Hustle:

Pretty similar to the Holt, but has closable vents.

I've got a Bern Brentwood XXL for my 61.5" head.
Highly recommended over the Giro G10 it replaced (the Giro seemed HUGE!!! in comparison)
Really comfy and adequately vented for my sweaty head even when hiking and has kept my head warm down to minus 25ish.
Size wise, the XXL is probably just a tad too big for me as I'm at the bottom of the range, but the XL felt like it would pinch the forehead after prolonged use as my head is long & narrow rather than fat & wide!

Got mine from Bargain Boards, who were good to deal with.
