WTF is going on?
no Virgin broadband, phone or cable TV services for over 24 hours?

Just spoke to a friend in Sunbridge Rd, BD1, and they say everything's fine their end, with Virgin. They don't have the cable or telly bit though. The Crossbow Killer used to live opposite them.

Apparently they're not on the 'super highway' or something, just lower end service 8 meg.

it's fine now.

it was off from afternoon Thursday until Saturday lunchtime last week

I'm in Baildon, about 5 miles away, but apparently the outage was "in the Bradford area"

Oh right just looked properly!

Maybe it was the Hole of Bradford affecting things?

Have they finally actually done something with it then? You're joking!

Poor Bradford. It deserves better.

I was going to post something about a nuclear weapon, but given the date, I thought better of it

Probably for the best, JohnDrummer.

No but come on; Bradford is a great city, just let down by decades of neglect and corrupt city officials. I like Bradford. I think it has enormous potential, and has far more character than Leeds, which gets all the money spent on it.

Bradford rocks. I'll stick up for it, and I'm a Southerner.
