The lowest winning bid when I left for work was only a £1....

Is this some official thing? as via my niece's school CiNA, I closed out on a pack of 4 locally brewed ale's last night for £20. Bidding ended at a pie n pea supper last night, and whilst result's aren't official till Fri, I was reliably informed I was the winning bid. So costing me about £8 more than I could have got them in the local shop. But hey, it's for the children...

Believe me stw'ers, if I was willy waving you would be feeling a draught 8)
