Morning (and happy new year)
In the process of sorting a trip alaska out for me and the o/h for the end of the year - sept/oct sort of time. just wondering if any of you have been before, any must see places etc? Good to get some outside opinions i think.
We'll have 3 weeks, originally thought we'd stop in vancouver or somewhere similar on the way break it up,but costs just don't make it worthwhile so will be pretty much direct flights.

I worked in Cordova for 4 months, amazing place and still the "wild frontier" It is expensive and they like to gouge tourists, the scenery is spectacular and the wildlife is every where.
Mosquitos are a nightmare and will eat you alive so take precautions and if you are camping wear a net.
Should have said that in land September October will be starting to get cold. Coast will be wet.
I think my mum has.
