I've never heard of it before, but it turns out to be probably just what I want to increase the outside diameter of a carburetor outlet by 5mm so I can attach a rubber hose.
Need something fuel resistant which this is. Anybody used it before?

Bit of a late reply, had this open in my tabs and forgot to comment.
Nope but you could try self amalgamating silicone tape. It sticks to itself without any adhesive and is very temperature and chemical resistant. Has no adhesive to be affected by fuel.

I've used it for sealing (i exaggerate - failing to seal) coolant pipes
Not sure it's going to cope with hotter temps though
