Lots of options around on tinternet. Any particular recommendations for recipes? Thinking of homemade kebab application.
Thanks!
what a coincidence - I just put some tikka chicken on to marinade over night a few hours ago.
Cant really offer any tips other than that I use a tikka spice mix with juice from half a lemon and a good splat of yoghurt as the marinade. I shall grill them tomorrow.
The best Tika recipe is this:
Call best local Indian restaurant or take away and ask for Chicken Tika,
Drop by and pick it up 15 minutes later.
Way quicker than a 24 hr marinade and probably not any more expensive.
Do you shop for your chicken at fortnum and mason luke
Luke +1. You may think your home made curry is nice, but it isn't compared to a good takeaway made my those in the know.
A jar of tikka paste, some yoghurt, leave to marinade for 3 days - very tender!!
Not specifically chicken tikka, but for home-made curries generally I can highly recommend these.

Is a good alternative to lots of half used spice jars losing their flavour in your cupboard. Small UK business too, as an alternative to punting money to Schwartz / McCormick.
Most of the Indian takeaways are not even Indian!
Best chicken tikka? Fly to north India ๐
