I'm headed there for a meeting tomorrow.

Any white stuff laying thereabouts?

Yep, snow here now. Not much though, about 3". Roads seem okay. Where are you travelling from and what part of Andover do you need to get to?

Cheers MM, decided not to travel.

Of course I am an awesome driver on snow but can't account for others who might not be. 🙂

Andover is an armpit, best avoided at best of times, is there still that awful "flicks" club? (was that what it was called?)

It hasn't been called Flicks for a few years now.

It was trading as Life last time I went there, which was about 3 years ago...it's terrible club for terrible people.

I lived in Anna Valley on and off for 9 years, still have friends there, but the town doesn't hold particularly happy memories for me.

I've lived in the area most of my life and agree the town at night is awful. I have live on the outskirts for a few years now and I have been out into the town at night three times. During the day it's just a harmless market town.
The only reason I moved back was to get on the property ladder as I couldn't afford Winchester prices at the time.
The surrounding villages are lovely though and some fantastic riding if you're a roadie. Not so good for Mountain Biking though. 😥

I beg to differ! There are loads of routes a few miles away - the North Hants Ridgeway is excellent and there are some good routes around there...
