Some people have used them for TT/ triathlon. Worth asking on time trialling forum. I believe there were some comments about lack of cornering control, because the nose of the saddle is missing.

That was what I was thinking - steering could suffer.
Will try to find a test model to trial.

My g'vnor got one and I think he is having trouble with it. The model that allows a 90o position.
