Looking for recommendation for a (free!) on-line html email design / template site for doing our newsletters. Would rather keep it separate from the email management side of things, so would be good to be able to download the final product rather than being tied-in to using it with the same site.

Steve, I'm using mail chip. Actually I'm not using it very much as the newsletters are pretty infrequent just now 'cos I'm on the bike a lot. It's good, separate website and they've really improved it recently so it's super easy to do nicely without having to code. Gives good feedback too. You can save the newsletter too and put it on Facebook, on your site etc.
