I may have to be in London this winter (normally live abroad) to refurbish a flat so looking for something interesting to do to keep me sane. I have always fancied being a postie & see my local sorting office is recruiting temp (postman/woman with driving 3 month contracts).
Hours quoted are 9-3 wed - sat, fixed term contract with RM Letters.
This seems ideal, I did once do the tests after uni but got another job straight away.
Anyone out there know any more? is this a sorting job or doing a round? surely a 9am start is too late to be out delivering.

Poolman - you would be out doing a round if start time is 9am.
Most postmen start at 6am to do the sorting and get out on their round between 9-10am.
Temp staff come in at 9am and collect their presorted mail and just do the delivery.
