I'm after a mp3 (or maybe DAB radio) alarm. Can even be an iPod dock (for Nano).
I've tried a few but they all seem to come on at a preset volume, rather than a user set volume. I need a very quiet wake-up or I'll die of a heart attack!
Any recommendations (under £100)?
A bit more than you want to spend (around £150) but I got a Revo iBlick Radiostation for Xmas. Great DAB radio with WiFi streaming. Also used as a dock for my iPhone.
2 fully programmable alarms - e.g. weekdays and week-ends with either DAB radio or ipod coming on at whatever volume you want. Might be some others in their range that offer what you want for less money.
cheers, will check them out
My daughters bought me a clock radio for Christmas, not DAB but has an ipod dock which takes my nano. Two separate alarms which can either buzz play radio or ipod and a snooze button.
On buzz the alarm gets progressively louder. Only down side is the display which is rather bright and initially distracting at night.
Sound is not brilliant but it has twin speakers and volume is adjustable.
Only problem is I can't recall who made it. It's not going to be expensive as it was a second present.
When I get home I'll post the name and model number.
Thanks Hughjarse. The Revo ones are really smart, but a bit pricey for something I use about 10 mins a day at most.
Don't worry hughjarse. took a punt on a Revo Blik on EBay and got it for £38!
Nice one Dez. Looks a better all round product than what I got but it does me.
