Have a job interview coming up and part of the spec is that I'm handy with excel.
I am pretty good at the basics and also some conditional formula etc but pretty week at things liked pivot tables and turning raw data into graphs etc.
Are there any online resources or good books that folk would recommend to get me up to speed in these areas?
Dunno whether it's "the best" but MS do their own online courses, for free.
Most likely you'll need pivots, as you mentioned, along with
Sum, Vlookup, If, Countif(s), Sumif(s)
Excel's own help files are actually quite helpful these days
Thanks all. Will have a read through some stuff.
As cougar said, the MS courses are excellent and worth doing even if you don't have a job interview
