Hi,

I have an aerial on the roof with one coax into the front room.

I want to have freeview in the top floor but don't want to run a cable from the ground floor to the top floor or have another hole in the house to split the cable at the aerial (the aerial is being replaced so this could be an option).

Are there any other options? Can I wirelessley transmit a signal from the ground floor to the top floor? What are the pros and cons?

Thanks everyone.

Best way is to hard wire it with a cable, you could use a wireless transmitter from your Freeview box downstairs but then you are limited to watching the same Freeview channel upstairs as down.
Also your box would need two scart sockets or rf out which most of the cheap ones dont have.

OK - how about this ....

Can indoor aerials be an effective way of viewing freeview?

Cheers,

Yes, in the city or other strong signal areas. I've got one from Maplin that works okay. It's really small too - a pocket thing really.
