need some direction on some industrial strength carpet glue that i can use in a van conversion. have trued spray glue but its no good especially in the heat of southern france. needs to be supa strong..anyone?
When I fitted out the back of the Landy with soundproofing felt I used Dunlop Trim Spray, which was expensive but was what the pros used. It certainly held the felt to the roof and the trim to the felt, even in hot sun. Buy a can of solvent as well to remove the overspray.
It doesn't look as if the Dunlop stuff exists now; I expect it's been killed off by COSHH. The supplier is Segal Motor Trim in Manchester and they now offer this:

You don't say what you're planning to use but I would strongly recommend lining the roof with proper soundproofing felt. It makes an astonishing difference to the level of sound especially in a diesel as it absorbs all the nasty high-frequency sounds. Some felts smell a bit veggie so you can finish off with a layer of headlining or trim felt or even needlecord carpet.
I'm using this in the van conversion I'm doing.
