My shed roof seems to have developed a bit of a leak - I've checked the felt - it looks okish and in particular looks fine where the actual leak is. What's the cheapest/easiest way of sorting this out. Is there a special paint/goo I can apply or is re-felting the only answer?
if you feel adventurous remove the old felt first on a sunny day and give it a few hours to air and then paint the roof panels with some preservative. If not just bung the new stuff over the top.
Roof felt and a few wide headed nails really isn't that expensive.
If you can find the hole in the felt you can buy a tin of bitumen, you can get some that goes on cold and that should help seal the hole, trouble is finding it in the first place.
