Hmmm, plausible, I guess.
Except I can't say I've noticed herds of wallabies roaming the Marlborough Downs when I've riding there, and, unless they've found a way to disguise the white flowers, large fields full of poppies, either. Maybe Rape has the same effect on their metabolism, and wheat.
