I can't seem to find a way to copy a direct link to an image accessed by doing a Google search on <name> images.

I get the selection, then the image plus text (which link I can copy) then when I click on that image to isolate it, I don't get the "copy link" symbol as a subsequent choice amongst all the others on offer- drive/contacts/Facebook etc. which would allow me to drop it into a STW thread using the IMG button...

Any ideas?

Various sites seem to host images in different ways and the way Google finds them means there's not always a direct link. Best way I have found is to long press, open in a new tab, then copy the URL (as long as it ends in .jpg or similar). It's a a couple of clicks but seems pretty fool proof

Is there a ‘view original image’ optioon? Click that is there is and then you should get an easier link.
