Al, I'm not normally so argumentative, Fontmoss, I wish you well in your career; a brave choice and a good move.

Apologies.

An explanation? I'm crikey, and I'm going bald.

I've cut all my hair off today, number 3 all over and I'm not happy about it. I'll never have a mohican, I'll never even manage a side parting again.

Sorry fellas.

Don't worry about it. If I apologised along those terms the internet would slow down 😀

Cheers Al.

Really not happy about my hair, and of course, realising how shallow and silly I sound makes it worse...

Bah. My dad had chemo, all his hair fell out then grew back better than mine... curse those maternal male pattern baldness genes...

I started to go grey at around thirteen, and since mid 20's have had a grade 0. Embrace your rightsaidfredness.

Crikey, don't worry. I carry waist-long hair so you don't need to.

It doesn't count as waist long if it starts at your belly button

Yeah, it's starting to get me down having a full head of hair.
Every time I finish down the gym, I have to have a proper shower, shampoo, towel and blow dry then re-style. I have to get my hair thinned when I go to the barbers and they don't reckon I'll ever go bald. I look a right thug with a skinhead so I'm stuck.

Is it the fact that your 35, been getting bald since you were 20 and have been sporting a (convincing to you) comb over for the last 15yrs?

You're angry at everyone who never told you, 'you look a berk'
Don't be sad, there is life after hair.

Been there since i was 22.

Cheer up mate and enjoy the fresh air.

I've always had short hair, but it's got to the thin on top, thick around the sides time; I have visions of a proper monk like look in a year or two.
Mrs crikey, despite her kebab related activity gawd bless her, doesn't like short hair, so I've put this day off for a year or so longer than I should.

Hey Ho, feeling old I'm afraid....

I feel your pain.

I went for a haircut earlier this year, probably had about eight inches taken off. It feels really weird now only having a ponytail to the top my shoulderblades.

I am almost 40 and I still have a very thick head of hair.

There is very little chance of me going bald only just starting to get a few greys coming in as well.
